An exclusive one-day enthusiast course tailored for TCB members, covering all the steps to decontaminate, prepare, coat a vehicle for long-term protection.
Running live through a correct decontamination process – vital for any vehicle prior to protection – we run through alternative methodology to get the vehicle clean and ready for preparation polishing professionally, and efficiently.
The polishing stage concentrates on removing marring from the decontamination clay element and getting the paintwork into perfect condition to coat, including some background on panel wipes and ensuring a clean, spotless surface.
Coating a live vehicle then gives attendees to get hands-on applying ceramic coatings in a risk-free environment, whilst we also look at the chemistry, processes and pros and cons of various coating types.
While we touch on theory and process throughout, the focus is hands-on, allowing you to master techniques and refine your skills to perfection before applying to your own vehicles at home.
The day will run from 9.30am until around 4pm, and you’ll be working both indoors and outdoors alongside some classroom time. Refreshments are provided on the day and there will be a 45-minute break for lunch, which you will need to bring with you.
At the end of the course you will have the knowledge, confidence and ability to prepare and coat your own vehicles with a range of coatings.
Note if buying as a gift card – please note the attendee’s name in the booking notes so we can add their details and reserve a place in advance of completing the booking.
