UK Detailing Academy was founded in 2016 to fix a problem the detailing industry has quietly tolerated for years: training that exists to sell products, and “shadow me on a job” experiences that leave new detailers with no real transferable skills.

We built something different — structured, brand-neutral professional detailing training that gives you the knowledge to build a real career, not a dependency on a supplier’s product range.

Our car detailing courses are designed from the ground up to cover both the practical techniques and the theory that underpins them. Knowing how to carry out a process is only half the picture. Knowing why it works — and why it sometimes doesn’t — is what makes a genuinely skilled detailer.

Every course is delivered by instructors with backgrounds across detailing, manufacturing, and professional training, using the latest techniques, chemistry, and equipment. Full learning materials are included, and our support doesn’t stop when the course ends, but when you stop needing it.
