Sanding is a precision skill that can elevate the quality of repairs and perfect imperfect paintwork. Throughout the course, you’ll employ a variety of tools, from electric sanders to specialised films, equipment and compounds. Under the attentive guidance of our instructors, you’ll progressively refine your technique on increasingly challenging panels.
Wet sanding, in particular, is a highly demanding skill that can yield exceptional finishes, making it a valuable addition to any detailer’s repertoire. It allows for the transformation of even the most daunting projects into rewarding endeavours and highly satisfied clientele.
The course fees include all necessary materials, PPE and refreshments throughout the day. The session typically begins at 9:30 am and concludes around 4:30 pm. Additionally, participants have the option to purchase a machine add-on pack—a Flex ORE 3-150—at an exclusive discounted rate, available for collection on the day.
Due to the complexity and demand for this skill, attendees are expected to have a proficient understanding of machine polishers — preferably both rotary and DA— and confidence in heavy correction techniques. This course is tailored for individuals who possess a high level of competency, enabling them to tackle the most challenging tasks in a detailer’s arsenal effectively.
