You will be instructed on using equipment such as paddock stands to secure vehicles, and learning what should and should not be approached to safely care for and maintain motorbikes.

No motorbike license is necessary for participation, as the course excludes riding activities. Furthermore, all training vehicles will be readily provided, ensuring a seamless learning experience without any logistical hurdles or risk to personal vehicles.

Tailored for seasoned detailers, our Professional Motorcycle Detailing course equips you with essential knowledge and skills to perform comprehensive detailing on motorcycles in a safe, efficient manner, using equipment such as paddock stands to secure vehicles and learning what should and should not be approached to safely care for and maintain motorbikes.

No motorbike license is required for this course, as no riding activities will occur, and all training vehicles will be provided.

  • Health & Safety protocols
  • Strategies for marketing yourself as a Motorcycle Detailer
  • Safe handling techniques for motorcycles, including side/centre stands, paddock stands, and jacking
  • Assessment of motorbike condition
  • Cleaning, decontamination & preparatory work for tank, fairings, screen, and exposed surfaces:
    • Washing processes, pre-wash & snow foam applications
    • Use of acids, alkalis, fallout removers, and advanced cleaning methods
  • Cleaning, decontamination & preparatory work for wheels
  • Degreasing and cleaning of suspension, running gear, swing arm, and forks
  • Safe removal of fairing panels
  • Engine cleaning procedures
  • Inspection, cleaning, and re-lubrication of chains and sprockets
  • Paintwork inspection and defect identification
  • Introduction to small-area machine polishing equipment
  • Polishing techniques for Perspex surfaces
  • Protection options for paint, plastic, wheels, metal, chrome, anodised parts, powder coat finishes, and anti-corrosion measures
  • Care and maintenance of helmets and visors
