The FLEX Academy “Flexxperts” individual polishing training course introduces attendees to the knowledge, skills and techniques to get the most out of every style of machine polisher available from FLEX Tools, From the PE14 Rotary to the PXE nano polisher. You have a choice of which days you wish to attend, selectable from the dropdown box above.
Day One is open to all skill levels as we start with an overview of movement types and theory, to get everyone up to speed before heading into the studio for the first of the instructor-led sessions. We look at combination matching, to allow you to correctly pair the machine, pad and compound with the paint in front of you and discuss the differences between movement types and how they alter effectiveness.
Each machine is explained; Rotary, Dual action, the Nano PXE, and Forced Action XFE, along with corded and cordless options, and you will have hands-on experience on both panels and live vehicles to trial and perfect your technique, or simply have a go to see how you get on with them if you’re looking to purchase to see what they can achieve in trained hands.
You will receive a Flex training day certificate at the end of the day and can progress to the second day if you wish to attain full Flexxpert status and branding. There will also be an opportunity to purchase any Flex polisher you enjoyed during the day at a substantial discount – perfect to try before you buy whilst learning the technique you will need to use the polishers.
Day Two is machine sanding and correction. Effectively using short throw FLEX sanding machines and fine grades of abrasive discs can be the most efficient way to achieve perfection on highly damaged, recently painted or otherwise imperfect paint finishes. We show you the techniques and tricks to utilise this high-end skill to the greatest effect and how to then safely and efficiently correct and refine the paintwork to complete perfection.
Completing both days will also give attendees Flexxpert All-In training professional accreditation, with business and brand association promotion abilities.
